EBE HEALTH

New Zealand

The EBE Health project was a holistic endeavor in sustainable packaging design. In collaboration with designers from Nero Motion, my role was to bring their 2D packaging design to life in a dynamic 3D space.

The primary goal of the 3D transformation was to offer a clear and compelling view of the packaging's interior, the individual capsules, and the product contained within the transparent capsules. Achieving optimal lighting was critical, particularly to highlight the product within the clear capsules.

This intricate packaging concept consisted of five key components: the base, a blue container, a lid, an interior base designed to cradle the capsules, and the transparent capsules themselves.

The Challenges

A notable challenge in this project was replicating the appearance of the clear capsule material, which needed to convey a thin and sustainable quality due to its plant-based nature. To achieve this, the key was to engineer the right balance of lighting that would generate the illusion of soft, thin plastic. Although it took several iterations to get it just right, the end result garnered high praise from the client, who was thoroughly satisfied with the achieved effect.
